Training: Protest Safety and Verbal Self-Defense on Sept. 9, 2017

  • Tactical nonviolence planning essentials
  • How to take control of a conversation (being rude for the right reasons)

  1. I am very interested, however, it sounds like the training is based on physical activity which requires sight. I don’t understand how a blind person can move around in a situation which requires visual awareness to know when and where to move. I am very interested in the conversational skills and would like to learn those. I would like to attend with my Seeing Eye Dog but just not sure what to do. Please respond to my questions and help me think through how I can participate. Thank you.
